Bio Activity
Immobilized Human INHBC-His at 10ug/mL (100 ul/well) can bind Human ACVR2A-Fc-6His. The ED50 of Human ACVR2A-Fc-6His is 2-8 ug/mL
Reconstitution
We recommend that the vial be centrifuged to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Do not mix by vortex. It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20 degree C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7 degree C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20 degree C for 3 months.

Related Product Information for ACVR2A recombinant protein
Activin Receptor Type-2A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ACVR2A gene. ACVR2A is an activin type 2 receptor. This gene encodes activin A type II receptor. Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors which belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. Activins signal through a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I (I and IB) and two type II (II and IIB) receptors. These receptors are all transmembrane proteins, composed of a ligand-binding extracellular domain with cysteine-rich region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain with predicted serine/threonine specificity. Type I receptors are essential for signaling; and type II receptors are required for binding ligands and for expression of type I receptors. Type I and II receptors form a stable complex after ligand binding, resulting in phosphorylation of type I receptors by type II receptors. Type II receptors are considered to be constitutively active kinases.

Product Notes
The ACVR2A acvr2a (Catalog #AAA174004) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Ala20-Pro134. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Activin Receptor 2A/Activin RIIA/ACVR2A, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
