Description: Affinity Purified Kita-kyushu lung cancer antigen 1 Antibody, N-epitope
Overview: A lung adenocarcinoma tumor specific CTL clone H1 obtained from the lymph node lymphocytes of patient was used to identify a new antigen coding gene by cDNA expression cloning technique. The gene consist of 556 bp including an open reading frame consist of 113 amino acids named as Kita-kyushu lung cancer antigen 1 (KK-LC1) the epitope for this protein lies between aa 76-84, and the genomic DNA of this antigen was localized on chromosome Xq22. The RT-analyses suggests that the mRNA for this gene is only expressed in the testis among all the normal tissues. About 50% of the non-small-cell lung carcinoma and 40% of the non-small-cell lung cancer tissue are positive for the expression of this protein.
The KKLC1-selective antibodies were generated against unique peptide taken form within the coding region of the KKLCA1 gene. FabGennix has generated highly specific rabbit anti-KKLCA1 polyclonal antibodies utilizing small peptide sequences. It has produced antibodies to multiple epitopes on the same protein that will facilitate studies utilizing interspecies cross reactivity. The antibodies to KKLCA1can be conjugated to fluorophores and other secondary enzymes as an additional service. MBS provides custom antibody production services for researchers that are looking for high affinity monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies in various host animal species

Product Notes
The KK-LC-1 ct83 (Catalog #AAA14410) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's KK-LC-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: 1:10,000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:200 Western Blot: 1:500 Dot Blot: 1:10,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KK-LC-1 ct83 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KK-LC-1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
