Reconstitution
Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 ug/ml.
Immunogen
E coli-derived human ICAM1 recombinant protein (Position: Q28-R268).
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 degree C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

WB (Western Blot)

(Figure 1. Western blot analysis of ICAM1 using anti-ICAM1 antibody (AAA19659).Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel)/90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.Lane 1: human Raji whole cell lysates,Lane 2: human Hela whole cell lysates,Lane 3: human K562 whole cell lysates,Lane 4: human HepG2 whole cell lysates.After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane at 150 mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% non-fat milk/TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with mouse anti-ICAM1 antigen affinity purified monoclonal antibody (#AAA19659) at 0.5 ug/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000 for 1.5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for ICAM1 at approximately 90-110 kDa. The expected band size for ICAM1 is at 59 kDa.)

CD54, also known as ICAM-1. Intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM1) is a ligand for lymphocyte function-associated (LFA) antigens. ICAM-1 is an integral membrane protein, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, and a ligand for LFA-1, a beta 2 leukocyte integrin. This protein is the major human rhinovirus receptor.
