Usage Notes
If not assayed immediately, samples can be stored at -80 degree C for one month. It is recommended to perform several dilutions of your sample to ensure the readings are within the standard value range. Fresh samples are necessary for good results. If don't perform the assay at the same time, it's better to complete the Sample Preparation step before storing the samples.

Storage at 4 degree C and Keep from light immediately upon receipt. Kit has a storage time of 6 months from receipt. Refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components.

Polyamine oxidase (PAO) is a key enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of polyamines in organism. In addition, PAO can regulate the level of polyamines and the concentration of products in organism, and participate in the response to stress and the growth and development process of each plant. Micro Polyamine Oxidase (PAO) Activity Assay Kit can detect biological samples such as Animal and Plant Tissues, Serum or Plasma. In this kit, PAO catalyzed the oxidation of polyamines to produce hydrogen peroxide, which reacts with the substrate in the presence of peroxidase, and the product has a characteristic absorption peak at 500 nm. The activity of PAO is reflected by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance value.
