Principle of the Assay: Chicken Chicken GDF5 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune- sorbent assay technology. A specific for Chicken GDF5 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: E.coli; Immunogen sequence: A376-R495) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection specific for Chicken GDF5 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Chicken Chicken GDF5 amount of sample captured in plate.
Background: Growth/differentiation factor 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GDF5 gene. GDF5 is a protein belonging to the transforming growth factor beta superfamily that is expressed in the developing central nervous system, and has a role in skeletal and joint development. It also increases the survival of neurones that respond to the neurotransmitter dopamine, and is a potential therapeutic molecule associated with Parkinson's disease.

Product Notes
The Chicken There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. GDF5 gdf5 (Catalog #AAA124852) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA124852 ELISA Kit recognizes Chicken There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. GDF5. AAA Biotech's GDF5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GDF5 gdf5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GDF5, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
