Usage Notes
If not tested immediately, the sample can be stored at -80 degree C for one month.
It is recommended to set several dilutions for the sample to ensure that the reading is within the standard value range.
It is necessary to use fresh samples in order to ensure the experimental effect. If the determination is not performed at the same time, it is best to complete sample preparation before storing the sample.

Related Product Information for D-LDH detection kit
Principle of the Assay: Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is a glycolytic enzyme, which widely exists in animals, plants, microorganisms and cultured cells, with a higher content in kidney. LDH is the terminal enzyme of the glycolytic pathway, catalyzing the reversible reaction between pyruvate and lactate, accompanied by the interconversion between NAD+/NADH. According to the different configuration of its catalytic substrate lactate, it can be divided into D-lactate dehydrogenase (D-LDH, EC 1.1.1.28) and L-lactate dehydrogenase (L-LDH, EC 1.1.1.27). D-LDH catalyzes NAD+ to oxidize D-lactic acid to produce pyruvate. Pyruvate further reacts with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine to produce pyruvate dinitrophenylhydrazone, which appears brownish red in alkaline solution, and the color depth is proportional to the concentration of pyruvate.

Product Notes
The D-LDH (Catalog #AAA332633) is a Detection Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "D-lactate Dehydrogenase (D-LDH), Detection Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
