Related Product Information for DYRK1A recombinant protein
Recombinant full-length rat DYRK1A was expressed in E Coli cells using an N-terminal GST tag. The protein accession number is Q63470-2.
DYRK1 A or dual-specificity tyrosine-(Y)-phosphorylation regulated kinase 1A is a member of the Dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase (DYRK) family which contains a nuclear targeting signal sequence, a protein kinase domain, a leucine zipper motif, and a highly conservative 13-consecutive-histidine repeat. DYRK1A participates in various cellular processes. DYRK1A is a highly conserved gene located in the so-called Down Syndrome critical region (DSCR) on part of chromosome 21 that is responsible for the majority of phenotypic features in Down syndrome (1). DYRK1A plays a significant role in a signaling pathway regulating cell proliferation and may be involved in brain development. DYRK1A is also contributing to early onset of Alzheimer disease (2).

Product Notes
The DYRK1A dyrk1a (Catalog #AAA73397) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's DYRK1A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DYRK1A dyrk1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DYRK1A, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
