Related Product Information for IL6 active protein
Interleukin-6, as known as IL-6, is an immunoregulatory lymphokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. It is also a 'myokine,' a cytokine produced from muscle, and is elevated in response to muscle contraction. IL-6 acts as both a pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokine. Smooth muscle cells in the tunica media of many blood vessels also produce IL-6. It is mediated through its inhibitory effects on TNF-alpha and IL-1, and activation of IL-1ra and IL-10. Recombinant interleukin-6 was expressed in E Coli and purifed by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer.

Product Notes
The IL6 il6 (Catalog #AAA48546) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Bioactivity, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL6 il6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MVPPGEDSKD VAAPHRQPLT SSERIDKQIR YILDGISALR KETCNKSNMC ESSKEALAEN NLNLPKMAEK DGCFQSGFNE ETCLVKIITG LLEFEVYLEY LQNRFESSEE QARAVQMSTK VLIQFLQKKA KNLDAITTPD PTTNASLLTK LQAQNQWLQD MTTHLILRSF KEFLQSSLRA LRQM. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 6, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
