Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB), produced in E coli is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 109 amino acids. A fully biologically active molecule has a molecular mass of 12.4 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 17 kDa analyzed by reducing SDS-PAGE and is obtained by chromatographic techniques.
Preparation and Storage
Stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20 degree C to -80 degree C.Store it under sterile conditions at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
