Related Product Information for FABP1 recombinant protein
FABP1 (Fatty acid binding protein1) encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in liver. FABP1 is composed of ten antiparallel beta strands that form a barrel with a bigger binding pocket than the other FABPs allowing it to accommodate two fatty acid. This protein binds free fatty acids and their coenzyme A derivatives, bilirubin, and some other small molecules in the cytoplasm; it may be involved in intracellular lipid transport and metabolism. Recombinant human FABP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Product Notes
The FABP1 fabp1 (Catalog #AAA48472) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's FABP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FABP1 fabp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSFSGKYQLQ SQENFEAFMK AIGLPEELIQ KGKDIKGVSE IVQNGKHFKF TITAGSKVIQ NEFTVGEECE LETMTGEKVK TVVQLEGDNK LVTTFKNIKS VTELNGDIIT NTMTLGDIVF KRISKRI. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FABP1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
