Intended Uses: This G-CSF ELISA kit is intended for laboratory research use only. The stop solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of G-CSF in the sample, this G-CSF ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus G-CSF concentration. The concentration of in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Principle of the Assay: The coated well immunoenzymatic assay for the quantitative measurement of G-CSF utilizes a multiclonal anti-G-CSF antibody and an G-CSF -HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with G-CSF -HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the G-CSF concentration since G-CSF from samples and G-CSF -HRP conjugate compete for the anti-G-CSF antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by G-CSF from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind G-CSF -HRP conjugate. Standards of known G-CSF concentrations are run concurrently with the samples being assayed and a standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (Optical Density) to the concentration of G-CSF . The G-CSF concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Product Notes
The GuineaPig G-CSF csf3 (Catalog #AAA84366) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA84366 ELISA Kit recognizes GuineaPig G-CSF. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
