Bioactivity
1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human TGF-beta 1 at 2 ug/mL (100 uL/well) can bind Human TGFBR2 with a linear range of 0.78-11 ng/mL.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit the IL-4-dependent proliferation of HT-2 mouse T cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.09-0.39 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 2.56 ^ 106~1.11^ 107 units/mg.
Preparation and Storage
Store the lyophilized protein at -20 to -80 degree C for 12 months. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20 degree C for 3 months, at 2-8 degree C for up to 1 week. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
