Related Product Information for MCF-7 cell lysate
MCF-7 cells are breast cancer cell line isolated in 1970 from a 69 year old woman, in 1970s. MCF-7 cells are a well characterized estrogen receptor (ER) positive control cell line (cells are positive for cytoplasmic estrogen receptors) and therefore are a useful in vitro model of breast cancer to study the role of estrogen in breast cancer. Cells are also positive for cytokeratin and negative for desmin, endothelin, GFAP, neurofilament, vimentin.

Product Notes
The MCF-7 (Catalog #AAA48307) is a Cell Lysate produced from Human and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MCF-7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MCF-7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MCF-7, Cell Lysate" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
