Principle of the Assay: Human Transcriptional enhancer factor TEF-1 (TEAD1) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TEAD1 in samples. An antibody specific for TEAD1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TEAD1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, HRP-Conjugated Human TEAD1 detection antibody is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound HRP reagent, a Chromogen solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TEAD1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background/Introduction: Recombinant Human Transcriptional enhancer factor TEF-1 (TEAD1) is a full-length protein expressed in the yeast. It was fused with a 6xHis-tag at the N-terminus. This TEAD1 protein containing 426 amino acids was identified and validated by the LC-MS/MS Analysis. Its purity is greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The purified TEAD1 migrated on the SDS-PAGE at a molecular mass of about 50 kDa. Because this protein is in stock, the delivery time will be relatively shortened. This recombinant TEAD1 protein may be used for antibody production and in the studies of the cardiovascular research field. TEAD-1 is required for cardiac morphogenesis, and its relatives cannot compensate for the TEAD-1 function during embryogenesis.

Product Notes
The Human TEAD1 tead1 (Catalog #AAA330716) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA330716 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TEAD1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transcriptional Enhancer Factor TEF-1 (TEAD1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
