Related Product Information for C3 native protein
Description: Purified human Complement C3 protein.
Background: Complement component 3, often simply called C3, is a member of the complement system. The complement system is an important mediator of natural and acquired immunity. It consists of approximately 30 proteins that can exhibit catalytic activity, function as regulators, or act as cellular surface receptors. These components normally circulate in inactive forms and are activated by the classical, alternative, or lectin pathways. Complement component 3 plays a central role in all 3 activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection. Clinically, the Level of C3 in the blood may be measured to support or refute a particular medical identification. For example, low C3 levels are associated with some types of kidney disease such as post-infectious glomerulonephritis and shunt nephritis.

Product Notes
The C3 c3 (Catalog #AAA13524) is a Native Protein produced from Human Plasma and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Complement C3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Other applications have not been tested. The optimal dilutions should be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C3 c3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Complement C3, Native Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
