Reconstitution
1. Before opening the tube cap, centrifuge the sample tube at 5000g for 3-5 min at room temperature to ensure the lyophilized sample to settle down at the bottom of the tube
2. Dissolved lyophilized protein sample in sterile water based on the recommended volume 104.17 ul
3. After adding sterile water, cover the lid and mix them by gently tapping the tube for 5-10 times

Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for 12 months in lyophilized form.
After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80 degree C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing).
For long term storage, glycerol can be added to a final concentration of 50% and stored at -20 degree C

This gene encodes the highly polymorphic major histocompatability complex class I chain-related protein A. The protein product is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules it does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. It is a ligand for the NKG2-D type II integral membrane protein receptor. The protein functions as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells. Variations in this gene have been associated with susceptibility to psoriasis 1 and psoriatic arthritis, and the shedding of MICA-related antibodies and ligands is involved in the progression from monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance to multiple myeloma.
