Target: Target:This antibody detects endogenous levels of ?-Arrestin 1 and does not cross-react with related proteins.
Arrestin proteins function as negative regulators of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling. Cognate ligand binding stimulates GPCR phosphorylation, which is followed by binding of arrestin to the phosphorylated GPCR and the eventual internalization of the receptor and desensitization of GPCR signaling. Four distinct mammalian arrestin proteins are known. Arrestin 1 (also known as S-arrestin) and arrestin 4 (X-arrestin) are localized to retinal rods and cones, respectively.
Cellular localization: Cell membrane, Cell projection, Coated pit, Cytoplasm, Cytoplasmic vesicle, Membrane, Nucleus.

Product Notes
The ARRB1 arrb1 (Catalog #AAA268359) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-beta-Arrestin 1 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's beta-Arrestin 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARRB1 arrb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "beta-Arrestin 1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
