Specificity
CD15 plays a role in mediating phagocytosis, bactericidal activity, and chemotaxis. It is present on >95% of granulocytes including neutrophils and eosinophils and to a lesser degree on monocytes. In addition, CD15 is expressed in Reed-Sternberg cells and some epithelial cells. CD15 antibody is very useful in the identification of Hodgkins disease. CD15 is occasionally expressed in large cell lymphomas of both B and T phenotypes which otherwise have a quite distinct histological appearance.
Form/Format
200ug/ml of Ab purified by Protein A Column. Prepared in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Sequence Length
530
Applicable Applications for anti-CD15 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed)
Application Notes
Flow Cytometry (1-2ug/million cells);
Immunofluorescence (1-2ug/ml);
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (5-10ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)
(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.

Product Notes

The CD15 fut4 (Catalog #AAA13849) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD15/FUT4 (Reed-Sternberg Cell Marker) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. Others not known. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD15/FUT4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed). Flow Cytometry (1-2ug/million cells); Immunofluorescence (1-2ug/ml); Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (5-10ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes) Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD15 fut4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD15/FUT4, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
