Recombinant Antibody
Immunogen
Blood was obtained from 4 helathy donors and the mononuclear cells harvested and grown. A BALB/c mouse was injected with 10^6 monocytes three times at monthly intervals, and four times with 5x10^6 monocytes oon each of the four days before fusion. The spleen cells were then fused to P3U1 myeloma cells to generate hybridomas and RIA was used to identify lines of interest.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for up to 3 months. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C.

IF (Immunofluorescence)

(Immunofluorescence staining of human peripheral blood monocytes using anti-CD18 antibody 1B4 Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed human peripheral blood monocytes immobilized on Shi-fix cover-slips and stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of 1B4 at 10ug/ml followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2ug/ml), showing membrane staining in a subset of cells. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with anti-Fluorescein antibody followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)

Product Notes

The CD18 itgb2 (Catalog #AAA72058) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD18 [1B4], Mouse IgG2a, Kappa reacts with Human, Rhesus Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD18 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, RIA (Radioimmunoassay), IP (Immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD18 itgb2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD18, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
