Related Product Information for anti-CD53 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins. It contributes to the transduction of CD2-generated signals in T cells and natural killer cells and has been suggested to play a role in growth regulation. Familial deficiency of this gene has been linked to an immunodeficiency associated with recurrent infectious diseases caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes

The CD53 cd53 (Catalog #AAA283078) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD53 Rabbit PolymAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD53 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IF (Immunofluorescence), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD53 cd53 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: EQKLNEYVAK GLTDSIHRYH SDNSTKAAWD SIQSFLQCCG INGTSDWTSG PPASCPSDRK VEGCYAKARL WFHSN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD53, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
