Related Product Information for anti-CDH17 antibody
This gene is a member of the cadherin superfamily, genes encoding calcium-dependent, membrane-associated glycoproteins. The encoded protein is cadherin-like, consisting of an extracellular region, containing 7 cadherin domains, and a transmembrane region but lacking the conserved cytoplasmic domain. The protein is a component of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic ducts, acting as an intestinal proton-dependent peptide transporter in the first step in oral absorption of many medically important peptide-based drugs. The protein may also play a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2009]

Product Notes
The CDH17 cdh17 (Catalog #AAA129457) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CDH17 antibody (5F5), IgG1 Chimeric mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDH17 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDH17 cdh17 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDH17, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
