Related Product Information for anti-CLDN18 antibody
Claudin 18 antibody is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human Claudin 18 (CLDN18). Validated for IHC.
CLDN18/claudin 18 is a member of the claudin family of integral membrane proteins that comprise tight junction strands. These are formed at points of cell-cell adhesion at the plasma membrane in epithelial cells. There are two splice variants, one expressed in the gastric mucosa and the other in lung. The gastric isoform is expressed in gastric tumors as well as tumors of other tissues, including the lung, ovary, pancreas, and esophagus. Staining is used to identify gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary neoplasms such as gastrointestinal signet ring cell carcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas, and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.

Product Notes
The CLDN18 cldn18 (Catalog #AAA163087) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CLDN18/Claudin 18 Mouse anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CLDN18/Claudin 18 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CLDN18 cldn18 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CLDN18/Claudin 18, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
