Related Product Information for anti-CFB antibody
Anti-human complement factor B/Bb recognizes human complement factor B and its' cleavage product Bb. Complement factor B is a single-chain molecule of 764 amino acids (MW of 90 kDa) and is part of the alternative complement pathway. It is cleaved by Factor D yielding the non-catalytic Ba and the serine protease Bb. Bb associates with C3b and provides the catalytic subunit of the C5 convertase which cleaves C5 to C5a and C5b.Factor B is an acute-phase protein whose levels increase during inflammation. Additionally, Bb is involved in the proliferation and differentiation of pre-activated B-lymphocytes. Conversely, Ba has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of pre-activated B-lymphocytes.

Product Notes
The CFB cfb (Catalog #AAA74222) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Human Complement Factor B/Bb, Purified (clone: M13/12), (Mouse IgG1 K) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Complement Factor B/Bb can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), ELISA, IP (Immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CFB cfb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Complement Factor B/Bb, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
