Application Notes
Fibronectins are involved in cell adhesion, cell motility, opsonization, wound healing, and maintenance of cell shape. Extra domain-B containing fibronectin has been proposed marker of angiogenesis, has been shown to be expressed in a number of human cancers and in ocular neovascularization in patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
Note
Describes generation, using phage display, of antibodies with subnomolar affinity against markers of angiogenisis.
Immunogen
2D-PAGE gel isolated human Extra-Domain containing fibronectin from lysate of human melanoma COLO-38 cells.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4°C for up to 3 months. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.

Product Notes
The EDB(+) FN (Catalog #AAA14185) is a Recombinant Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ED-B domain of fibronectin [A2] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ED-B domain of fibronectin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Biacore, Western Blot (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen (IHC-Fr). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EDB(+) FN for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ED-B domain of fibronectin, Monoclonal Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
