Related Product Information for anti-FSH antibody
Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is a hormone synthesized and secreted by gonadotropes in the anterior pituitary gland. In the ovary, FSH stimulates the growth of immature Graa follicles to maturation. As the follicle grows, it releases inhibin, which deactivates the FSH production. In men, FSH enhances the production of androgen-binding protein by the Sertoli cells of the testis and is critical for spermatogenesis. FSH and LH act synergistically in reproduction.
FSH antibody is a useful marker in the classification of pituitary tumors and the study of pituitary disease. It reacts with FSH-producing cells.

Product Notes
The FSH (Catalog #AAA59339) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FSH, RMab (EP257) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FSH, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
