Mouse anti-Human Progesterone Receptor (Ser294) Monoclonal Antibody | anti-PGR antibody
Anti-Phospho-Ser294 Progesterone Receptor
Gene Names
PGR; PR; NR3C3
Reactivity
Human
Applications
Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Dot Blot
Synonyms
Progesterone Receptor (Ser294), Antibody; Anti-Phospho-Ser294 Progesterone Receptor; anti-PGR antibody
Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Human
Clonality
Monoclonal
Specificity
Specific for the ~90k PR-A isoform and the ~120k PR-B isoform of the Human Progesterone Receptor phosphorylated at Ser294. The labeling by the antibody was specifically blocked by the phosphopeptide used as antigen. The corresponding non-phospho-peptide did not block the immunolabeling.
Applicable Applications for anti-PGR antibody
WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), DB (Dot Blot)
Quality Control Tests
Dot blots and Western blots performed with each lot.
Packaging
100 ul in 10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 ug per ml BSA and 50% glycerol. Adequate amount of material to conduct 10-mini Western Blots.
Preparation and Storage
For long term storage -80°C is recommended, but shorter term storage at -20°C is also acceptable as aliquots may be taken without freeze/thawing due to the presence of 50% Glycerol. Stock solutions are stable for a minimum of 1 year at -20°C. Ships on blue ice.

Product Notes
The PGR pgr (Catalog #AAA72748) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Phospho-Ser294 Progesterone Receptor reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Progesterone Receptor (Ser294) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), DB (Dot Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PGR pgr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Progesterone Receptor (Ser294), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
