Biological Significance
Human Vascular Endothelial (VE)-cadherin is a calcium-dependent adhesion molecule strictly located at cell to cell junctions. VE-cadherin is present in all types of endothelium (veins, arteries, capillary and large vessels). Specificity determined by immunoprecipitation from a detergent extract of biotinylated cells. Antibody binding requires Ca++.
Expression System
293 cells
Immunogen
VE Cadherin antibody was raised in Mouse using HUVEC cells as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Stable for 1 year at 2-8 degree C from date of receipt.

Product Notes

The VE cdh5 (Catalog #AAA106745) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's VE Cadherin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the VE cdh5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "VE Cadherin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
