Specificity
This item recognises bovine WC1, a 215/300kD antigen expressed on the majority of gamma/delta T lymphocytes. These cells also express low levels of CD5, but are negative for other B and T cell markers.
The WC1 antigen is reported to be involved in a number of processes, including activation of gamma/delta T cells and the development of a Th1-biased acquired immune response.
This product is routinely tested in flow cytometry on bovine peripheral blood lymphocytes.

Product Notes
The WC1 (Catalog #AAA49711) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's WC1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WC1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WC1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
