MONOTOPE products consist of purifid monoclonal antibody conjugated with high purity isomer I of florescein isothiocyanate.Care is taken to ensure complete removal of any free florescein from the fial product. The fial preparation is formulated to an antibodyconcentration of of 100 ug/ml in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2 containing 0.1% sodium azide plus bovine serum albumin at 10 mg/ml.Each vial contains 1.0 ml. This product should be stored at 2-8 degree C until ready for use. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing by storing multiplealiquots at -20 degree C. Applications for these products include direct FA staining of target antigen in a permissive tissue culture system. Workingstrength must be determined by the user for each specificapplication but a starting range of 1:5 - 1:20 is recommended. Acetone fixtion ofthe antigen source is recommended prior to staining.
