Related Product Information for anti-CD40 antibody
The original antibody was generated by immunizing a rat with 20 ug of soluble extracellular domain of recombinant murine CD40 (sCD40).
This paper discusses the generation and functional characterization of two antibodies that recognize two distinct CD40 epitopes.
This chimeric mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Rat IgG2a format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.

Product Notes

The CD40 cd40 (Catalog #AAA72332) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD40 [1C10] reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD40 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IP (Immunoprecipitation), IF (Immunofluorescence), ELISA, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), Antagonistic Antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD40 cd40 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD40, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
