Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ATG16L1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ATG16L1 and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between ATG16L1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
Samples
Serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type
Quantitative Competitive
Sensitivity
0.1 ng/mL
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.

Intended Uses: This ATG16L1 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Mouse ATG16L1. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or test applications!
Principle of the Assay: ATG16L1 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing an anti-ATG16L1 antibody and an ATG16L1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with ATG16L1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the ATG16L1 concentration since ATG16L1 from samples and ATG16L1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-ATG16L1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by ATG16L1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind ATG16L1-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The ATG16L1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Product Notes
The Mouse ATG16L1 atg16l1 (Catalog #AAA244897) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA244897 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse ATG16L1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Autophagy-related protein 16-1 (ATG16L1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
