Related Product Information for IL-1a elisa kit
Interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1a) is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by a wide variety of cell types, including macrophages, osteoblasts, monocytes and hepatocytes. IL-1 alpha is synthesized as 31 kDa precursors that are subsequently cleaved into proteins with molecular weights of approximately 17 kDa. The IL-1a precursor reportedly shows full biological activity in the EL-4 assay. Circulating levels of IL-1a are normally low and only rise after stimulation by agents such as those produced byinflammation, infection or microbial endotoxins. IL-1a possesses a wide variety of biological activities and exerts its effects by binding to specific cell surface receptors.

Product Notes
The Mouse IL-1a il1a (Catalog #AAA309903) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA309903 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse IL-1a. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-1a, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
