Related Product Information for MAP1S elisa kit
Background: The ubiquitously distributed MAP1S is a homologue of the exclusively neuronal distributed microtubule-associated protein 1A and 1B (MAP1A/B). They give rise to multiple isoforms through similar post-translational modification. Isoforms of MAP1S have been implicated in microtubule dynamics and mitotic abnormalities and mitotic cell death.
Principle of the Assay: Mouse Microtubule-associated protein 1S (MAP1S) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MAP1S in samples. An antibody specific for MAP1S has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any MAP1S present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, HRP-Conjugated Mouse MAP1S detection antibody is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound HRP reagent, a Chromogen solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MAP1S bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Notes
The Mouse MAP1S map1s (Catalog #AAA332414) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA332414 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse MAP1S. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Microtubule-Associated Protein 1S (MAP1S), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
