Related Product Information for anti-AMBP antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Alpha 1 microglobulin detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P, Direct ELISA in Human.
Background: Protein AMBP is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AMBP gene. This gene encodes a complex glycoprotein secreted in plasma. The precursor is proteolytically processed into distinct functioning proteins: alpha-1-microglobulin, which belongs to the superfamily of lipocalin transport proteins and may play a role in the regulation of inflammatory processes, and bikunin, which is a urinary trypsin inhibitor belonging to the superfamily of Kunitz-type protease inhibitors and plays an important role in many physiological and pathological processes. This gene is located on chromosome 9 in a cluster of lipocalin genes.

Product Notes

The AMBP ambp (Catalog #AAA124941) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Alpha 1 microglobulin/AMBP Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Alpha 1 microglobulin/AMBP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (Direct ELISA), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AMBP ambp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alpha 1 microglobulin/AMBP, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
