Related Product Information for anti-AP3M1 antibody
Description: Part of the AP-3 complex, an adaptor-related complex which is not clathrin-associated. The complex is associated with the Golgi region as well as more peripheral structures. It facilitates the budding of vesicles from the Golgi membrane and may be directly involved in trafficking to lysosomes. In concert with the BLOC-1 complex, AP-3 is required to target cargos into vesicles assembled at cell bodies for delivery into neurites and nerve terminals.

Subunit Structure: Adaptor protein complex 3 (AP-3) is a heterotetramer composed of two large adaptins (delta-type subunit AP3D1 and beta-type subunit AP3B1 or AP3B2), a medium adaptin (mu-type subunit AP3M1 or AP3M2) and a small adaptin (sigma-type subunit APS1 or AP3S2). Interacts with AGAP1. AP-3 associates with the BLOC-1 complex (By similarity).

Similarity: Belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunit family.

Product Notes

The AP3M1 ap3m1 (Catalog #AAA328770) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AP3M1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted: Zebrafish, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog, Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AP3M1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP3M1 ap3m1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AP3M1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
