Related Product Information for anti-CANX antibody
Goat polyclonal to CANX (Calnexin) - endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane marker. CANX is a member of the calnexin family of molecular chaperones. This protein is a calcium-binding, ER-associated protein that interacts transiently with newly synthesized N-linked glycoproteins, facilitating protein folding and assembly. It may also play a central role in the quality control of protein folding by retaining incorrectly folded protein subunits within the ER for degradation.

Product Notes

The CANX (Catalog #AAA13872) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Calnexin Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse, Monkey, Canine proteins and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CANX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunohistochemistry-Formallin (IHC-F). WB: 1:500-1:5,000 IF: 1:50-1:500B IHC(P): 1:200-1:1,000 IHC(F): 1:200-1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CANX for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CANX, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
