Related Product Information for anti-Cav3.3 antibody
This gene encodes the pore-forming alpha subunit of a voltage gated calcium channel. The encoded protein is a member of a subfamily of calcium channels referred to as is a low voltage-activated, T-type, calcium channel. The channel encoded by this protein is characterized by a slower activation and inactivation compared to other T-type calcium channels. This protein may be involved in calcium signaling in neurons. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. CACNA1I (Calcium Voltage-Gated Channel Subunit Alpha1 I) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CACNA1I include Childhood Absence Epilepsy. Among its related pathways are CCR5 Pathway in Macrophages and PEDF Induced Signaling. GO annotations related to this gene include ion channel activity and low voltage-gated calcium channel activity. An important paralog of this gene is CACNA1H.

Product Notes
The Cav3.3 cacna1i (Catalog #AAA173782) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cav3.3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cav3.3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cav3.3 cacna1i for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cav3.3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
