Related Product Information for anti-CLRN2 antibody
The CLRN2 gene belongs to the clarin family of genes. The Clarin (CLRN) proteins belong to a superfamily of small integral proteins with four alpha-helical transmembrane domains, which also includes Tetraspanins, Connexins, Claudins, Occludins and calcium channel gamma subunit-like proteins. In humans, the CLRN family comprises three proteins encoded by the paralogous genes CLRN1, CLRN2 and CLRN3, which contain no known functional domains apart from their four transmembrane domains and a C-terminal class-II PDZ-binding motif (PBM type II). In humans, CLRN1 mutations have been found to cause Usher syndrome type 3A (USH3A), which is characterized by post-lingual, progressive hearing loss, variable vestibular dysfunction and onset of retinitis pigmentosa leading to vision loss.

Product Notes

The CLRN2 (Catalog #AAA256876) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CLRN2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CLRN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CLRN2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CLRN2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
