Related Product Information for anti-COL1A1 antibody
Collagen is a group of naturally occurring proteins found, in nature, exclusively in animals, especially in the flesh and connective tissues of mammals. It is the main component of connective tissue, and is the most abundant protein in mammals, making up about 25% to 35% of the whole-body protein content. Type-I collagen is the most abundant collagen of the human body. It is present in scar tissue, the end product when tissue heals by repair. It is found in tendons, the endomysium of myofibrils and the organic part of bone.

Product Notes

The COL1A1 col1a1 (Catalog #AAA74941) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Collagen Type I antibody (biotin) reacts with Reacts with Human, Bovine, Rat, and Mouse. Less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with Type II, III, IV, V, or VI Collagens. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Collagen Type I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IP (Immunoprecipitation), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the COL1A1 col1a1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Collagen Type I, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
