Applicable Applications for anti-CRHR1 antibody
FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot)
Function
G-protein coupled receptor for CRH (corticotropin-releasing factor) and UCN (urocortin). Has high affinity for CRH and UCN. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase. Promotes the activation of adenylate cyclase, leading to increased intracellular cAMP levels. Inhibits the activity of the calcium channel CACNA1H. Required for normal embryonic development of the adrenal gland and for normal hormonal responses to stress. Plays a role in the response to anxiogenic stimuli.
Cellular Location
Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Endosome. Note=Agonist-binding promotes endocytosis
Tissue Location
Predominantly expressed in the cerebellum, pituitary, cerebral cortex and olfactory lobe
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for anti-CRHR1 antibody
This gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that binds
neuropeptides of the corticotropin releasing hormone family that
are major regulators of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal pathway.
The encoded protein is essential for the activation of signal
transduction pathways that regulate diverse physiological processes
including stress, reproduction, immune response and obesity.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes

The CRHR1 crhr1 (Catalog #AAA283659) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 88-119. The CRFR1 Antibody (Q103) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CRFR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRHR1 crhr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CRFR1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
