Related Product Information for anti-CRP antibody
C-Reactive Protein antibody is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to C-Reactive Protein (CRP)(N-Terminus) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat. Validated for IHC and WB.
CRP is an acute-phase inflammatory protein present in the plasma. In the presence of calcium, CRP binds to polysaccharides on microorganisms and triggers the classical complement pathway of innate immunity by activating C1q. CRP is produced by the liver, smooth muscle, macrophages, endothelial cells, lymphocytes, and adipocytes. It is transcribed in hepatocytes in the liver in response to increased levels of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and IL-1. CRP expression can increase by up to 1000-fold during inflammatory conditions such as acute bacterial infections or with severe tissue damage. It is used as a clinical marker of inflammation and infection.

Product Notes
The CRP crp (Catalog #AAA162715) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CRP/C-Reactive Protein Rabbit anti-Human Polyclonal (N-Terminus) Antibody reacts with Mouse, Rat, Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CRP/C-Reactive Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRP crp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CRP/C-Reactive Protein, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
