Related Product Information for anti-CUL5 antibody
CUL5 is a core component of multiple SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin 2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complexes, which mediate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. As a scaffold protein may contribute to catalysis through positioning of the substrate and the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme. The functional specificity of the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex depends on the variable substrate recognition component. ECS(SOCS1) seems to direct ubiquitination of JAk2. It seems to be involved poteosomal degradation of p53/TP53 stimulated by adenovirus E1B-55 kDa protein and may form a cell surface vasopressin receptor.

Product Notes

The CUL5 cul5 (Catalog #AAA289144) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 747-774. The CUL5 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Rabbit) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CUL5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CUL5 cul5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CUL5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
