Preparation and Storage

DEAD-box helicase 46 (DDX46) is a member of the DEAD-box (DDX) helicase family which plays critical roles in cellular metabolism and cellular proliferation and neoplastic transformation. Knockdown of DDX46 significantly suppresses migration and invasion in osteosarcoma cells and substantially downregulates the phosphorylation levels of PI3K and Akt in SaOS2 cells. DDX46 may be a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of osteosarcoma, colorectal cancer (CRC) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).
