Related Product Information for anti-DVL1 antibody
DVL1, the human homolog of the Drosophila dishevelled gene
(dsh) encodes a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that regulates cell
proliferation, acting as a transducer molecule for developmental
processes, including segmentation and neuroblast specification.
DVL1 is a candidate gene for neuroblastomatous transformation. The
Schwartz-Jampel syndrome and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2A
have been mapped to the same region as DVL1. The phenotypes of
these diseases may be consistent with defects which might be
expected from aberrant expression of a DVL gene during development.

Product Notes

The DVL1 dvl1 (Catalog #AAA290317) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 442-470. The DVL1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DVL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DVL1 dvl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DVL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
