Related Product Information for anti-FAM9B antibody
FAM9B (Family With Sequence Similarity 9 Member B, also known as TEX39B) is located on human chromosome Xp22.31. The FAM9B gene contains 9 exons and spans about 9 kb. FAM9B shares 65% amino acid identity with FAM9C, 46% identity with FAM9A, and about 30% identity with rodent Sycp3. The encoded protein may be localized to the nucleus as the protein contains several nuclear localization signals, and has similarities to a synaptonemal complex protein. FAM9B is associated with some diseases, including Epithelial Basement Membrane Dystrophy and Epithelial And Subepithelial Dystrophy.

Product Notes

The FAM9B (Catalog #AAA256779) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-FAM9B Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FAM9B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FAM9B for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FAM9B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
