Applicable Applications for anti-UBD antibody
IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot)
Function
Ubiquitin-like protein modifier which can becovalently attached to target protein and subsequently leads to their degradation bythe 26S proteasome, in a NUB1-dependentmanner. Probably functions as a survival factor. Conjugation ability activated by UBA6. Promotes the expression of the proteasome subunit beta type-9 (PSMB9/LMP2). Regulates TNF-alpha-induced and LPS-mediatedactivation of the central mediator of innateimmunity NF-kappa-B by promotingTNF-alpha-mediated proteasomal degradation of ubiquitinated-I-kappa-B-alpha. Required forTNF-alpha-induced p65 nuclear translocation in renal tubular epithelial cells (RTECs). Maybe involved in dendritic cell (DC) maturation, the process by which immature dendritic cellsdifferentiate into fully competentantigen-presenting cells that initiate T-cellresponses. Mediates mitotic non-disjunctionand chromosome instability, in long- term invitro culture and cancers, by abbreviating mitotic phase and impairing the kinetochore localization of MAD2L1 during the prometaphase stage of the cell cycle. May be involved in the formation of aggresomeswhen proteasome is saturated or impaired. Mediates apoptosis in a caspase-dependent manner, especially in renal epithelium andtubular cells during renal diseases such aspolycystic kidney disease and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-associated nephropathy (HIVAN).
Cellular Location
Nucleus. Cytoplasm Note=Accumulates in aggresomes under proteasome inhibition conditions
Tissue Location
Constitutively expressed in mature dendritic cells and B-cells. Mostly expressed in the reticuloendothelial system (e.g. thymus, spleen), the gastrointestinal system, kidney, lung and prostate gland.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Product Notes

The UBD ubd (Catalog #AAA285266) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 120-153. The FAT10 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FAT10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UBD ubd for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FAT10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
