Purity/Purification
Peptide Affinity Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab)
Form/Format
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Applicable Applications for anti-FCER1G antibody
WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA
Function
Associates with a variety of FcR alpha chains to form a functional signaling complex. Regulates several aspects of the immune response. The gamma subunit has a critical role in allowing the IgE Fc receptor to reach the cell surface. Also involved in collagen-mediated platelet activation and in neutrophil activation mediated by integrin.
Cellular Location
Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein
Antigen Region
60-86
Function
Adapter protein containing an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) that transduces activation signals from various immunoreceptors. As a component of the high-affinity immunoglobulin E (IgE) receptor, mediates allergic inflammatory signaling in mast cells. As a constitutive component ofinterleukin-3 receptor complex, selectively mediates interleukin 4/IL4 production by basophils, priming T-cells toward effector T-helper 2 subset. Associates with pattern recognition receptors CLEC4D and CLEC4Eto form a functional signaling complex in myeloid cells. Binding of mycobacterial trehalose 6,6'- dimycolate (TDM) to this receptor complex leads to phosphorylation of ITAM, triggering activation of SYK, CARD9and NF-kappa-B, consequently driving maturation of antigen-presenting cells and shaping antigen- specific priming of T-cells toward effector T-helper 1 and T-helper 17cell subtypes. May function cooperatively with other activating receptors. Functionally linked to integrin beta-2/ITGB2-mediatedneutrophil activation. Also involved in integrin alpha-2/ITGA2-mediated platelet activation.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Product Notes

The FCER1G fcer1g (Catalog #AAA284806) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FCER1G Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Monkey, Mouse, Pig, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FCER1G can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FCER1G fcer1g for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FCER1G, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
