Related Product Information for anti-FGF9 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the
fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess
broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a
variety of biological processes, including embryonic development,
cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and
invasion. This protein was isolated as a secreted factor that
exhibits a growth-stimulating effect on cultured glial cells. In
nervous system, this protein is produced mainly by neurons and may
be important for glial cell development. Expression of the mouse
homolog of this gene was found to be dependent on Sonic hedgehog
(Shh) signaling. Mice lacking the homolog gene displayed a
male-to-female sex reversal phenotype, which suggested a role in
testicular embryogenesis.

Product Notes

The FGF9 fgf9 (Catalog #AAA288629) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 31-58. The FGF9 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, mouse (Predicted Reactivity: Pig, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FGF9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FGF9 fgf9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FGF9, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
