Background: Forkhead box protein O1, also known as FKHR or FOXO1A, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FOXO1 gene. It is mapped to 13q14.11. This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. FOXO1 plays important roles in regulation of gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis by insulin signaling, and is also central to the decision for a preadipocyte to commit to adipogenesis. This gene is primarily regulated through phosphorylation on multiple residues. Its transcriptional activity is dependent on its phosphorylation state. What's more, FOXO1 may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.

Product Notes
The FOXO1 foxo1 (Catalog #AAA46049) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-FOXO1A Antibody reacts with Human, Rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Forkhead box protein O1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FOXO1 foxo1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Forkhead box protein O1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
