Related Product Information for anti-GGCX antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against GGCX. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: GGCX is an enzyme which catalyzes the posttranslational modification of vitamin K-dependent protein. Many of these vitamin K-dependent proteins are involved in coagulation so the function of the encoded enzyme is essential for hemostasis. Mutations in this gene are associated with vitamin K-dependent coagulation defect and PXE-like disorder with multiple coagulation factor deficiency.Gamma-glutamyl carboxylase accomplishes the posttranslational modification required for the activity of all of the vitamin K-dependent proteins (Wu et al., 1991 [PubMed 1749935]). These include some of the blood coagulation and anticoagulation proteins as well as bone gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (Gla) protein (BGLAP; MIM 112260) and bone matrix protein (MGP; MIM 154870).[supplied by OMIM]. Product Notes

The GGCX ggcx (Catalog #AAA199429) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GGCX antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Sheep and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GGCX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GGCX ggcx for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: FLLRKLYVFR RSFLMTCISL RNLILGRPSL EQLAQEVTYA NLRPFEAVGE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GGCX, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
